Wir begleiten Ciça und Santiago bei ihren Anfängen als professionelle Tänzer, wir erleben den späten Ruhm der Salontango-Tänzer Graciela und Pedro und erfahren von drei zeitgenössischen Bands, wo ihre Wurzeln und Einflüsse sind. Jeder einzelne von ihnen zeigt uns seinen eigenen wahren Tango und alle gemeinsam ziehen uns hinein in die Tango-Leidenschaft zwischen Tradition und Moderne. MÁS TANGO (More about Tango) is a moving journey into the world of the new and the old Tango. In Buenos Aires, we meet the young couple Ciça and Santiago on their way to professional Tango dancing as well as the older couple, Pedro and Graciela, as they bask in the fading glory of their famed classical Tango. Focusing on the musicians, three modern bands explain how the traditional roots of the dance can give birth to today’s electronic Tango. Bridging traditional and modern styles, these Tango enthusiasts make their passion tangible – through music, dance and words. Illuminated by the big city’s glowing sea of lights, MÁS TANGO leaves a vibrant impression of the microcosm that is Tango Argentino.
